Les Américains Dan Sullivan et Catherine Nomura proposent une approche du développement personnel en dix points dans leur dernier livre "The Laws of Lifetime Growth"°. Pour eux exister consiste à développer son envie de croître, de grandir, d’entreprendre, de réaliser ses rêves.

Il propose d’intéressants exercices de réflexion personnelle qui permettent de voir sa propre vie autrement.

Par exemple, si tout ce que vous avez accompli jusqu’à aujourd’hui n’était que le début, le commencement de votre vie, quel serait votre prochain pas ? (page 15).

Parmi les dix lois de Sullivan & Nomura, j’apprécie particulièrement la huitième : Faites toujours en sorte que votre confiance en vous-même soit plus importante que votre confort.

Le confort, n’est-ce pas ce qui nous raccroche à notre passé, la confiance en soi étant la clé qui ouvre les portes de l’avenir ?
